Bout of Books 9.0 has officially begun! Rather than making lots of individual posts to track my progress, I’m just going to sticky this one and update it as I go along.
As a reminder, my goal for the week is to read four books:
- The Gods of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs
- The Herald of Autumn by J.M. Guillen
- Night of Cake and Puppets by Laini Taylor
- The Snow Queen by Alana Albertson
Progress Updates:
Monday, 1/6/14
- The Gods of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, 19%
Tuesday, 1/7/14

Good luck!!
Thank you! 🙂
Lots of luck! Looking forward to your thoughts on Gods of Mars. That’s one I’ve been meaning to reread ever since rereading Princess of Mars, erm, two years ago…
I started it earlier today and am enjoying it thus far. It’s ridiculous in a good way.
Wow you are organized!
Well, last time I did individual posts each day, and that ended up being a pain. This seemed easier. 😛
You’ve read two so far, that’s great! Hope you are enjoying them!
So far I am. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
You’re doing great! I really need to buckle down and get some reading done. I hope you enjoy the Laini Taylor book!
Thanks! That’s the one on my original list that I haven’t started yet, but I loved the first two books in the series and feel like maybe the novella will help tide me over till book three comes out.
